WE'RE GOING TO WOODSTOCK*!

*Fun Fact: The Woodstock '69 Festival actually took place about 1.5 hours away from Woodstock, NY. It was held in Bethel, NY. SO, we're actually going to BETHEL! But that doesn't sound as exciting....

I want this weekend to be super chill & didn't want a bunch of activities to rush around to, so the times listed are general ideas of when we could do things, but are also pretty flex.

MONDAY

11am - Check Out

The only time we'll "dress up" is for the Woodstock Museum & the Hippie Picnic Dinner (they're right after each other so same outfit for both). We're going for a mix of hippie, disco & mod. Think funky psychedelic patterns, flare pants, boho fringe vests, gogo boots... Anything you think you'd have loved to wear to Woodstock in 1969. We're not aiming for costumey & don't need to buy anything you'll never wear again. Here is a sample pinterest inspo board but don't feel the need to copy any of them exactly - just vibes. Keep in mind I'm driving up so will have unlimited suitcase space & will prob bring waaay too many options so I can help out if ya need!

The rest of the weekend: jammies and comfy clothes.

November 8-10

Wedding Day

Not sure whether we're having brunch at the hotel or the venue but will keep you posted. Ideally, we'll have hotel brunch & then go get our nails done. After nails, we'll travel to the venue where the MUAH will help us get (more) gorgeous! Chuck and I are going to do a first look and then try to get all the posed bridal party shots before the ceremony. We'll also do a quick run through of the procession.

Ceremony

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. The procession will be each of you walking solo down the aisle, then taking a seat in the front row. After the ceremony, there's no formal recessional and you can act as a "normal" guest aka reunite with your dates & enjoy cocktail hour. We're not doing bridal party announcements at the reception either, so just grab a drink and have fun!

This is TBD if we're actually even doing this, but instead of a formal rehearsal dinner, we'll host a happy hour for the bridal party on Friday Night. You won't be missing anything important if you can't make it. More deets to come on this!
